Kardi

Preschool 3-5 Years

Our Kardi (Preschool) Space consists of children ages 3 to 5 years, the space is run by a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher and a Diploma Qualified Educator. Through out the day the space will be slip into two spaces allowing the Children aged 3 to 4 years old the opportunity to engage with program activities based on their developmental and individual programming cycles.

The Program is play based following the Early Years Learning Framework and Reggio Emilia principles that incorporate the children’s interests. Regular assessment of each child’s learning and development is undertaken and shared with the family via face-to-face interviews and updates to their online documentation portfolio.

There are plenty times throughout the day where the children are able to choose between indoor and outdoor activities that are based around their developmental needs.

During time where the space is split into two groups the Children aged 4 to 5 years old our teacher leads a comprehensive, play-based educational program that fosters a lifelong love of learning and prepares your child for a seamless transition to school. Based on the Early Years Learning Framework and influenced by Reggio Emilia educational principles, the program is guided by lines of inquiry developed by the children themselves. Regular assessments of each child’s learning and development are shared with families through face-to-face interviews and updates to their online documentation portfolio.

The service also offers a government funded Universal Access program that is an approved preschool program this is delivered our degree-qualified Early Childhood Teacher in our Kardi space. This program provides a more flexible option than the restrictive hours of government kindergartens, accommodating children in the year before they attend school. With full-day hours, it also better meets the needs of working parents.
